Growing up.

I'm in High School right now I just realised...very soon (to soon ) I'll be a grown up. Ugh! I don't want to go to university! I don't want to have to get a job! I don't want to get old! (Not saying I'm going to go all botox crazy or anything...)

But seriously! I wish I could be like 7 or 8 or 5 again. So innocent and care free. I'm happy dressing up as Mulan or Snow White and I didn't care what people thought of me. (Still don't - come on, for non-uniform say I had a Yoda - see Starwars - backpack on! With Dr Martens and blue dungaree - if that's the wrong spelling I don't care - on.)

Everything was so much easier when you were a little kid. Now you have all the GCSE exam stuff being thrown at you and having to revison and thinking about your future. YUCK!

However, one of my all time favourite movies and book is Peter Pan! (The 2004 - ???? right year - movie not the Disney cartoon.) I think it's sad when Peter looks in on Wendy, John and Michael's family when they are reunited and the Lost Boys live with them. They all grow up and the narrator, which is Wendy as a grown up, says Peter experiences many things other children can't but he will never experience a family.

As Peter himself said "to live would be a awfully big adventure"...
